Inquiry Unified Arts Scheduling
Sat, Dec 1 2007 06:28 | Permalink
On behalf of a fellow physical education teacher, I am posting this listserv inquiry. The goal is to elicit statewide input regarding unified arts scheduling at the middle school level. After reading the inquiry below, please send your response to Chris Morrill at cmorrill@barrington.k12.nh.us. He is particularly interested in hearing from schools of similar grade span and size, but no doubt, any information you can share will be useful.
We are in the process of trying to put together a UA schedule that works a little better than what we currently have in place. Currently, we see the kids for 22 days (1 hour classes) and then they move on to their next UA. There are eight Unified Arts classes. Our school is a 5th - 8th grade middle school with approximately 400+ students.
